HITACHI RACING

Our work for Hitachi Racing and their celebrated driver Josef Newgarden were more than just pieces of content, they were pieces of art. We developed the “Hitachi Artist of the Race” working both with Josef’s team and sculptors, illustrators, typographers, animators, and stop-motion artists to create artwork for each race. Josef Newgarden was involved with the series even working directly with us on one of the pieces and adding the final touches to the work. On social we shared the artwork and the process of creating the work. When he did in fact win the championship we celebrated his historic season by creating a virtual gallery displaying all the artwork and Indycar trophy.
